Question

Why can't I E-file New Hampshire tax return?

Help!  On the Federal Information worksheet, Part VI, under Electronic Filing of Tax Return Information, there is no option to choose "New Hampshire" as the state to file electronically...despite the fact that New Hampshire is one of my State Products under Tax Year 2025 Product Selections...

These folks have a Sch F (loss), Form 4797 Sales flowing to Sch D, and Interest & Div income @ $3,604.  - so there's a NH-1040, and BET-T - although no taxes owed to New Hampshire b/c gross receipts are under $109,000.  ... is this why the program won't let me choose New Hampshire as a state to E-file?

Makes NO SENSE to me, as there are plenty of times when people don't owe state taxes, but can still E-file their state tax returns... some people choose to file just to keep their names "active" with the state, in order to receive $ from various state programs during the year.  Any NH preparers out there?  Help!!

Im not familiar with that state at all, but it looks like NH is just a business tax summary?  PS doesnt support EFiing of it, but cant you just do it on the Granite tax website?

https://www.revenue.nh.gov/taxes-glance/business-taxes

Use the File Taxes button on this website
