why are my returns not being accepted for the past 2 days

I sent a federal and Alabama return on March 25 and the fed says sent to IRS but the state is received by Intuit

Other returns have been accepted

Could there be something wrong?

I have efiled returns on 4/12 and other returns have been accepted but the 4/12 ones are received by intuit but not going to the irs. Are they rejected? why are they stuck at intuit?  eds
