Where do I indicate a RE professional when I am doing a 1065? On the 1065 or the 1040 K-1 input?

There is no need for it on the 1065 or K-1.  That only affects the 1040.

    You did not provide the tax software you are using. On Turbo Tax, the box appears in the Federal Information Worksheet on the bottom. If you're using Pro Series FX, its on input sheet K-3 on the top. You'd have to ask technical support on any other tax software you are using.
