When can you deduct health insurance premiums

I have a client who has both W-2 and self employment earnings.  Can he deduct his Medicare Part 

B premiums on his schedule C?

If he is not covered by insurance from W-2 job, yes. Actually its and adjustment to income on schedule 1 and not a deduction on schedule C if your client qualifies.
