trust for taxpayer in assisted living

Hi I have a client in assisted living. Family stated a trust (1041),

They sold her house - am I able to take the home sale exclusion since she lived in her home until she entered assisted living,

Also is her assisted living able to be deducted on a trust,

Who owned the house at time of sale?
