Question

The system is allowing the use of the EIC for 2019 even though the client had no earned income in 2021. Is this correct?

If zero income is  less than  2019 earned income, then yes.

    Thank you for the quick response.  Logically I thought the same thing but unfortunately I have had quite a few system errors with proseries this year so I just wanted to double check before submitting the return, then having the IRS disallow the EIC from 2019.
