Question

The IRS sent my client a late notice for a return that was efiled and accepted by the IRS. What do I send them to prove it was efiled?

I cant find the article right now, but the IRS computers sent out a bunch of back dated notices automatically, that shouldnt have been sent out.   

This is what happens when the machines are left in charge for a few months!

    You didn't specifically say what kind of return and for what year. 1040? 2019?

      It was a 2019 1065 return filed 3/27/2020.
