Question

Tax return says "locked by another user" after power outage. How do I unlock it?

You can try the info here, but dont be surprised if that file is corrupted and needs to be prepared all over again.

    Try copying and renaming the file, even move off the hard drive, then delete the original and do a Homebase maintenance and restart your computer, before moving the file back. 

    This has happened to me years ago but I don't remember if I successfully fixed it...remember I tried like hell to do all sorts of things!
