Submitted returns on 01/19 not processsed, but ones filed today are?

I submitted a couple of returns during the 01/19 window, Both are still showing as received by Intuit. However, the returns that I've filed today are being processed and accepted by the IRS pretty quickly.

Does anyone have any idea as to why and when will the 01/19 returns be submitted to the taxing authorities?

think of it like this, you sent it in early, it would be at the bottom of the EF "pile" when all the ones from opening day come flooding in on top of it. Give it a day or two for acknowledgment from IRS.

While the early bird was getting the worm, the cat was getting the early bird. Lesson learned for next year - being first in line doesn't mean you are going to be the first to get processed. I'm more of a Clark Griswold - I always park on the back end of the parking lot, never the first row.
