When adding a PDF attachment the program defaults to Other for the type which often will leave the error message. To resolve this:Open the South Carolina return. From the E-File menu choose Attach PDF Files. You should see your attachment.If the "Type" shows as Other click on the drop down menu and choose what the attachment is for.For example OS Tax Return if it's the Other State Tax Return.

Question

South Carolina INDIV - is there a current problem with pdf attachments to the SC-1040?? Because an Error Message is not going away - even tho I DO have the pdf attached to efile. (This is preventing my from e-filing this SC return today!)
