Cash-basis Taxpayer files 2017 1040-X in 2019 and pays federal and state taxes. On the 2019 1040, Schedule A - does the 2017 additional state Tax expense paid in 2019 go on line 5a - State and Local Taxes or Line 6 - Other taxes? Proseries Professional doe not allow override of Line 5a.
