Schedule A Income taxes
Cash-basis Taxpayer files 2017 1040-X in 2019 and pays additional state taxes. On the 2019 Schedule A, does the 2017 added state tax go on line 5a - State and Local Taxes or line 6 - Other Taxes. Proseries does not allow override of line 5a which brings forward state tax amounts withheld or estimated payments. Thank you very much, Dan Camporeale
