Enter it as a single W2, with 3 states in Lines 15,16,17.

It would guess that youd file an MA resident return and NY and CT non resident returns, but Im not familiar with those eastern states, some have reciprocal agreements with neighboring states, so Im not sure how that all works.

Will Proseries Basic let me do this or will I get an error for reuse of a SS number?

I would only include the appropriate w-2 income in the two states where he was a non resident. Correct?

Thank you

you shouldnt get a duplicate SSN, you'll only have 1 federal return and 3 different state returns with the same SSN...nothing is duplicated.
