Returns noting an electronic payment date after 4-15-2020 are being rejected for e-filing. Will that be corrected?

ProSeries support indicated the software will be updated to allow this, but Intuit is in communication with the IRS to get some specific guidelines before updating the software.  Check for updates at this link:  https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/proseries-news-and-updates/discussion/is-the-tax-deadline-delayed-what-to-know-about-coronavirus-covid/00/68934

That's odd.  I think you are the first person to ask that.  Have you called support?

No, but, since no one else seems to have this problem, I will.  I will reply with their answer.

Everybody is having the issue.  There are posts every hour about it.  Either have them write a check or extend the return and then e-file with the later date.
