Used ProSeries Professional for 20 years without problems. This year - I can't file my first federal tax return in ProSeries basic because of a strange screen saying I need to do a return authorization and pay $ 41 . I thought I bought unlimited federal returns ?
Problem fixed !
I had to go to the My Account Dashboard and download form there the ProSeries Basic. That fixed this issue - which was created because I previously had downloaded the 2019 software from inside my version of 2018 Professional. That cause a glitch since I only paid for Basic for tax year 2019.
It took 25 minutes on the phone - but I love cust rep. Antionette ... she was great.
