RENT OUT HOA-ASSIGNED PARKING SPOT

Hi. My client rented out an HOA-owned parking space and the associated storage unit. Should the rental

income be reported on Schedule E or on Schedule 1, line 8z? I would greatly appreciate your opinion. Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

To me, they are both real estate.

    I’m assuming the HOA rented these 2 not an individual as they owned it?
