Why when I put in the stimulus amount on the recovery rebate credit worksheet the amount is added to his refund as if he didn't get it what am I doing wrong

Are you putting the amounts received on lines 16 and 19?

    LN 5/6/8/9 should be 0 according to IRS instructions
