Quarterly check bounced: does the IRS resubmit?

Client called all in a tizz, the quarterly payment we sent for 1/15/21 bounced. He mailed had mailed them a check. When he caught that it bounced he immediately pushed money into that account.

What now? Does the IRS resubmit the payment? Should we just figure it didn't happen? Should we pay additional right now anyway?

Thanks,

One of these options would be used:

https://www.irs.gov/payments

From what I can remember they DO NOT resubmit and will probably send a bill for the NSF fee.
