Proseries Basic calculation for CTC for MFS is showing $2000 IS this new for 2020

I do not see any mention of change in the new updates, and when I do a MFS the child tax credit is showing $2000.    What am I missing

The increase to CTC does not take affect until 2021

    What I am questioning is that I show $2000 on this return while i am under the belief that it is 1/2 of amount (2000) when MFJ

    Why do you think it should be half - because of MFS ?    Have you looked in Pub 504 for help with this?
