ProSeries 21 won't open past the sign-in window

I can't open ProSeries. It was working two days ago, and I have already prepared (mostly) tax returns. Today, after I sign it, it spins for a while, then nothing happens. It never opens.

It's not a very satisfactory solution - meaning, this shouldn't happen - but it did work. Thank you!

anytime weird stuff happens (with any program) that shouldn't but does, a reboot is the first go-to move to correct it.

I had that happen at the office yesterday, just sat spinning and spinning, I used Windows Task Manager to close it down, rebooted and tried again, finally worked.

Same for me. It literally stopped and I could NOT "X" out. I also had to quit via "task manager".......
