Overpayment on 1040 X for 2020 return filed electronically asking it to be applied to 2021.
I filed several of these kinds of returns but when opening he 2021 tax files they are not showing.

when you transferred the file from 2020 did you transfer the amended file or original file? If you did the amended file it might be an Intuit issue. You can manually input the amount that was applied yourself.
