NYS tax filing and 10200 exemption

Has anybody heard if NYS will be allowing the 10200 exemption on the unemployment benefits received. Should I file returns.

nothing yet although they did create the add back code to the NYS tax return. We are still holding the returns for a while longer to see if anything official is said one way or the other. We are thinking now of giving it to about 4/15 then give the client their choices. extension, file and amend later if necessary (or file and hope NYS corrects them themselves)
