Question

NYS allows expired drivers license for ID purposes but the program marks it as an error and will not allow me to e-file. how do you e-file NYS return with expired license

Change the expiration date.

    From the Homebase view, highlight the file you want to Efile.  click the EF Now icon.  when the Electronic Filing Options drop box appears, uncheck enable conversion error checking.  Hit OK and it will process with the expired expiration date.
