in ProSeries in the North Carolina module how do you get around the box asking if the spouse is a veteran when the taxpayer is single?

I prepare 2 NC tax returns for single TP I mark the question NO, because the spouse who doesn't exist is not a veteran!

    Proseries really needs to fix this, not only that it asks for an individual's spouse that does not exist, it also asks it twice, There is a duplicated questions with the veteran related questions being asked twice and as well as the extension, it is also being asked twice. Please fix it proseries. Thank you. From NC tax preparers

    Checking and uncheck seems to stop the pink box from being highlighted also.
