NAMES DISAPPEARING ON THE EF CENTER

REGARDING PROSERIES PROFESSIONALY, I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH NAMES DISAPPEARING FROM MY EF CENTER WHICH IS A CONCERN SINCE THIS IS WHERE I DEPEND ON SEEING MY CLIENTS IN ORDER TO ELECTRONICALLY FILE THEM.

INTUIT, DON'T WE PAY ENOUGH MONEY TO YOU EACH YEAR TO MAKE SURE THAT THE PROGRAM RUNS CORRECTLY AND EFFICIENTLY? THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM IN THAT I MAY MISS FILING SOMEONE BECAUSE THEY HAVE JUST DISAPPEARED. THEY DO NOT SHOW UP UNDER THE PENDING EITHER!

I HAVE TO GO INTO MY REGULAR HOMEBASE VIEW, WHICH WASTES TIME, TO GO FIND THEM.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM AND PLEASE FIX IT!!!!!

if theyre in the regular view Im not sure how they can be missing from the EF Center unless theyre not marked for EF.

Have you tried clicking on the header at the top of the column and reorganizing them by file name or Last Modified Date?  Maybe therye in the list, just not in the order youre expecting?

You can also use CTRL + F and type in the first few letters of a first or last name and it will pull up only those files.

Thank you Lisa for the advice, I have been a proseries user for over 30 years. I have lived through many issues with Intuit. I do know how to find a name and how to fix some of the problems but the files are marked for ef and are not showing up in the ef view. Just this morning, I went to work on a client that is marked for ef, and had to go into the homebase view to find them. I did a search for the client in the ef center and it came up with nothing.

Another problem is that when I go to ef the file while it is open, it tells me there is nothing to file as if the ef boxes aren't even checked!  Maybe this is just a bug in my system.

I find it hard to believe that I am the only one having this issue!

Yes, I look in ALL of them and have no luck. Thank goodness they are sitting in my homebase view so I can retrieve it!

Very odd.  I havent had any problems like this.

Have you tried to use Homebase > Homebase  Maintenance while youre in the EFCenter?
