Question

My individual reeturns from 2021 transferred to 2022 but my S-Corp and partnership returns did no. What now?

When I call up "Transfer" in 2022,it appeaars I will replace all data already entered for 2022.

You cant transfer in once youve already started working on a return, or you'll overwrite the file.

Are you in the 1065 Homebase view when you click the Transfer button and you dont see your 2021 partnership returns in the list to transfer into 2022?

instead of transfer all…. If you can see the files that you want to transfer, hold the cntl  key down and highlight the ones ou want.

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround

I never transfer a prior year until I have all of the client docs needed to complete the return.
