Question

My client has $42,217,946 in Sales Proceeds on Form 1099-B and it appears that the software will not allow an entry larger than seven (7) figures, for example $9,999,999 or less in sales proceeds.

How do I go about reporting the eight (8) digit/figure for the total sales proceeds on Schedule D & Form 8949 when the software apparently only handles seven (7) digits/figures or less??

Use the 1099B worksheet and double click on an entry  line to get to another worksheet that will take larger numbers.
