MO-1065 requiring MO tax ID to eFile?

This appears to be new this year and makes no sense to me.  I have a MO partnership that is a rental real estate entity.  It was eFiled last year using ProSeries and was transferred in to the 2020 program.  It does not have a MO tax ID and per the help file it is not required to (i.e. no sales tax and no employees).

This year, the first field under Part II of the Missouri Partnership Information Worksheet is "red boxed" to require this information.  The error diagnostic noted that this field is required for eFiling.  I hate to have to file by paper just because the program is throwing this error.  I'm all for eFiling security measures, but if that is the case here it seems ridiculous.  If I am missing something, please let me know.

Thanks for reporting this issue.  The MO tax ID number was originally a required element for efile this season.  The ID number is no longer a required field for efile and you should see new MO releases this week.
