Is there a way to have the state over payment directly deposited to a bank in the Trust program?

I can choose to have the Federal over payment directly deposited, but cannot find the question to have the state over payment directly deposited.

    you may want to add which state you're working with, they may not all have the same options, and to clarify this is a 1041 trust return youre working on?

    The state is California.  Sorry I did not put that detail.

    California’s Franchise Tax Board (FTB) still follows a "check-only" policy for Form 541 refunds. This is why you see the option for the Federal return in ProSeries but can't find a corresponding question for the California state return.

    Some states you can, but some you can't based on state law.

    There are too many problems with protecting trusts versus giving money to scammers.

    Although the Info W/S allows it for the feds, I don't think the feds actually like allowing it, but they due. This is a recent development.
