Is there a way to automate Homebase maintenance so it doesn't have to be ran everytime.

I am a two person practice and my computer is where the PreSeries data is stored. The other profession links to my computer for the tax files. We each have to run Homebase Maintenance manually or risk working in an old file. Is there a way to automate the process so it happens upon startup of the software?

Sounds like you should be on the network version with a server not the stand alone program trying to have 2 people access it.

I don't understand what you mean by "risk working on an old file." My tax files reside on a server that all users access from their PCs.

I had inadvertently setup ProSeries as stand alone on both machines instead of a network.

You are right. ProSeries support walked me through fixing it. Thank you.
