Question

I need to convert a 2020 Turbotax file to 2021 Proseries. I have successfully done this before but now I cannot locate any 2020 turbotax files with the conversion wizard.

Is there a specific folder that the wizard pulls from?

IDK anything about converting TT to PS. I do know that you can open 2020 TT in 2020 PS.

Then you can transfer 2020 PS to 2021 PS.

    Thank you for the info. I had found the instructions on how to do the conversion before and for some reason could not find them again. I have figured out how to do it, PS requires you to create a file called ConversionData on your C: drive and you place the PY TurboTax files there to pull them into the conversion wizard.

    You don't need a conversion wizard for TT to PS.
