I'm trying to e-file, and getting a notice that Preparer ID needs to be verified. There was no problem yesterday

check in Tools> Options > Firm Preparer Info and be sure the PTIN verify box is still checked

    Yeah it is a little late in the tax season for something like that to be happening... Just my opinion
