I have Code I in box 14 of a Trust K-1. Error message says no section 199A income has been entered on Statement A. Any suggestions? Thank you.

See the button right below Line 14 that says 199A info?  Did you click that and enter the Sch A info?

    Entering the I turned red right away. I went to the box below to enter the info and it just said I needed some income in Statement A. All I have is a negative number, so no income to put there. Does that make sense?

    If they did not provide you with the Statement associated with the Sect 199A income you will need to contact the return preparer for it.
