Question

I have both a pa K-1 and NRK-1 for same sub s owner of a Pa partnership. How do I get rid of the NRK- 1

For PA Partnership return, every owner is a PA based.  Why do I get a PA K-1 and a NRK-1 for the same owner?

Hi mewmaster,

ProSeries calculates the Pennsylvania partnership following the government instructions for PA-20S/PA-65 Schedules RK-1 and NRK-1: 

"NOTE: An entity that is the owner of another entity receives both the PA-20S/PA-65 Schedule RK-1 and NRK-1."

    Which one should be used on the return.  A PA Based partnership return with a Pa based partner that is a sub s and the return includes the NRK- 1 not the RK- 1
