Question

I have an explanation statement populating in proseries with no reference to a form or line number. Its for Amortization of Domestic Research and Experimental Costs.

How do I remove it or find out where it is generating from

It wont remove.Doing delete formndoesn’t work. It’s from a messed up update from over a week ago. They say they are working on it. You can read a lot of posts on this.

      ProSeries downloaded this afternoon a fix to the glitch for Explanation Statement "Amortization of Domestic R&E costs".    When I had called ProSeries, they said were "investigating" the issue and it only affected returns with Depreciable Assets - that matched my experience with my client returns that were "glitching". 

      I checked around noon today for an update but there was none.  However, I just now checked again before e-filing another return and saw a new update.  It FIXED the glitch!  Thank you to the team who fixed the issue!
