I have a few clients that receive W-2s from IHSS. Pro series message is we have to paper file these returns because there is a zero in box 1. Is there a way around this?

I have a few clients that receive W-2s from Calif. IHSS for caring for family members.  The W-2s have zero in box 1.  Pro series gives a message that the return has to be paper filed.  Can I just put $1 in box one?

If box 1 is empty (I'm assuming box 2 is empty as well), you don't enter that W2. Its not included on the return.
