Question

i have a client who whats to know the status of their 2020 refund but when i check the regular wheres my refund it doesnt give me anything where do i go to check 2020

They need to call IRS, you do not have access to that information. I have these instructions for reaching a human at IRS saved from a prior year, they may still work

    If you haven't filed 2021 yet, you can still look up in the info on "where's my refund".  If you have filed, someone is going to have to make a phone call to the IRS.

    I think the whole WMR site switched to current year right before filing season opened.
