I have a client that lived in DC for work but also has a GA address, she owns a business in GA. Do I file non-resident for DC or GA?

Her license has the GA address but she lived in DC the whole time. She goes back to GA every few weekends for the business. Am I completing a DC return with a GA non resident return?

It sounds like client is a DC Resident.

Is the GA business a Sch C? You would file a GA nonresident return.

Her driver's license address does not have much importance. People often don't change these - on purpose or not. Who wants to go to the Dept of Motor Vehicles?

The more I know the more I don’t know.
