Question

I am getting error message on Schedule 8812 (advance tax credit payment) for a couple that have no children. What is causing this?

Enter zeroes on the form to make the issue go away.

    Yes, you are required to input a 0 (for yourself, and for a spouse if applicable) even if you are not claiming any dependents on your return.  Not sure why that is, but ...
