I am a self preparer that uses ProSeries software. Can I electronically file my returns using ProSeries if I am not registered to efile with IRS? If so, how do I do it?

I have never e-filed a return.  I use the software as a self-preparer.  Do I have to be registered with the IRS to be able to e-file using ProSeries?

Yes.  You need an EFIN. You apply with the IRS and it takes a while to get it
