When you have the new year open, click "file" then "transfer".  But to be safe, you really want to wait until the first part of January before you do that.  Over the years, there have been issues with client files that were transferred early.  Setup a dummy client if you want to play with the system now, but hold off with real clients.

    Actually I am amending a couple year back.

    You can only roll forward, not back.  Start with the earliest year and then roll forward with the amended returns.
