How to efile when Spouse Driver license ID info expired

I am trying to efile a tax return and the spouse Driver license expired on April 24, 2020 during COVID 19 and the spouse has not been able to renew yet. What to do in program?

Only a few states require it, if yours isnt one of them, either delete all the info and mark it as did not provide ID, or add a year to the expiration date and pick up the updated info next season.

Click on the ID Verification form to open it up.

Then top toolbar >>> Forms>>>Remove ID Verification.

Then when you open it again to get rid of the errors input his...but check the box for did not provide for Spouse

I had the same situation and I check marked other ID in the same page asking for : Pass port, Utility bills, etc. It worked.
