Hi,

There are 9 errors in form 8867.  Client is not claiming any of the credits.  How can I delete this form?

Thanks.

Is the client Head of Household?

Does the client qualify for the EIC for taxpayers without children?

I agree, there is a reason the form is there.

When you are in the 8867 form, click on "form" on the menu at top, then click on "remove form".

Are you sure your client is not eligible for any credits, because the 8867 does not usually populate unless your client is eligible for one of them

Thanks for the good point.  This is a new client and he did not qualify in 2018.  I can assume he does not qualify for 2019 either.  8867 is populated because I have not done all the input and the system assume he qualifies.  I will wait until I enter all data to see if I could delete it.
