How do I generate a Form 5227 in ProSeries
I have one client with a Split Interest Trust that requires Form 5227 to be filed with the 1041 return. ProSeries has not handled that in the past, which means that I have to purchase one license from LaCerte and then struggle to get through software which looks totally different each year. Drake software, a much cheaper product, has the Form 5227. Does anyone have info on whether this may be added in the future, or are the ProSeries software engineers too busy improving TurboTax so they can compete with us instead of spending
