How do i e-file with foreign wages but no FID number for those wages?

 have been doing this "trick" for 20 years: (for income exclusion form 2555)

List income on Sch C

Go to bottom of page and mark "not self employment income"

Link the income to Form 2555

don't forget to fill in 2555 where you can list the foreign (or domestic company's address and other info.

    Wages, salaries & Tips Worksheet has a line for foreign income (8b) with a box to check if its eligible for foreign exclusion.  (I couldnt grab the entire page in one screen shot, sorry.)
