How can we enable the Preparer's signature?

How can we make the signature to print on documents.

The system accepts the signature but we have not been able to make it work, we call several times last year to customer service but no luck.

That option is for a signature pad, and when you are ready to print return, you have to click on print efile signature forms, and I am not sure if you can have system print a preparers signature on the 1040
