How can I keep a return from being opened by another user? If the return is locked, what info can another preparer see? I would like to lock all preparers returns.

I would like to lock all returns, so they are not accidentally edited. could I password protect those employee returns to prevent anyone from opening them?

When you are in Homebase.  Select the client.  The click on Tools, Lock/Unlock and then you can lock it.  It does not prevent someone else from unlocking it but you can put work rules in place that tells to never unlock.  They have to see the person in charge to unlock it.
