can intuit help me get status on an amended 2020 return

If you just filed it it would have to be paper and status would have to be through IRS, not Intuit.

also if just filed, too late for a refund. Over 3 yrs.

    IRS has a website for that.  "You can check the status of an amended return around 3 weeks after you submit it. You should generally allow 8 to 12 weeks for your Form 1040-X to be processed. However, in some cases, processing could take up to 16 weeks."  It's weird, they want your client's date of birth.  Like going to the doctor's office where they can't ask for SSN.  But IRS wants that, too.

    And I'm sure you're aware that it's not too late for a refund of taxes paid in the last two years.  And for lots of other reasons.
