Taxpayer moved to Texas in July 2019 but continued working from home for a MN company.

Only MN state tax was withheld(Texas has no income tax).  On MN Part Year resident form do

I consider all the income as earned in MN even though taxpayer lived in Texas for half the year.

The W-2 Box 15 is coded MN for Minnesota.

MN should only tax the wages earned while he lived in MN. Taxpayer needs to tell his employer to stop withholding MN tax.

The more I know the more I don’t know.
