Has the IRS shut down efiling for this year as it prepares for the new tax season in late January? Or can I still file a client return electronically today?

Thanks, I had seen this announcement, but was unclear what is meant by "business returns" and whether that included personal returns, e.g. 1040s.

You cannot file 1040 now that they have shut fown
